Father Time. Ii. a Physical Basis behind Feynman's Idea of Antiparticles Moving Backward in Time, and an Extension of the Cpt Theorem to Include Non-local Gauge Fields

چکیده
It was demonstrated in a recent paper (Mod.Phys.Lett. A13, 1265 (1998) ; hepth/9902020) that the existence of a non-thermodynamic arrow of time at the atomic level is a fundamental requirement for conservation of energy in matter-radiation interaction. Since the universe consists of two things only — energy and massive matter — we argue that as a consequence of this earlier result, particles and antiparticles must necessarily move in opposite directions in time. Our result further indicates that the CPT theorem can be extended to cover non-local gauge fields. * Atomic & Molecular Physics Group, Department of Materials Science. Dynamic responses of poroelastic beams with attached mass-spring systems and time-dependent, non-ideal supports subjected to moving loads: An analytical approach
The present study is the first to analyze the dynamic response of a poroelastic beam subjected to a moving force. Moreover, the influences of attached mass-spring systems and non-ideal supports (with local movements in the supporting points or base due to the presence of factors such as gaps, unbalanced masses, and friction or seismic excitations) on the responses were investigated. Non-ideal s...
متن کاملDiscrete Symmetries of Off-Shell Electromagnetism
This paper discusses the discrete symmetries of off-shell electromagnetism, the Stueckelberg-Schrodinger relativistic quantum theory and its associated 5D local gauge theory. Seeking a dynamical description of particle/antiparticle interactions, Stueckelberg developed a covariant mechanics with a monotonically increasing Poincaréinvariant parameter. In Stueckelberg’s framework, worldlines are t...
متن کاملChange Point Estimation of the Stationary State in Auto Regressive Moving Average Models, Using Maximum Likelihood Estimation and Singular Value Decomposition-based Filtering
In this paper, for the first time, the subject of change point estimation has been utilized in the stationary state of auto regressive moving average (ARMA) (1, 1). In the monitoring phase, in case the features of the question pursue a time series, i.e., ARMA(1,1), on the basis of the maximum likelihood technique, an approach will be developed for the estimation of the stationary state’s change...
متن کاملEfficient implementation of low time complexity and pipelined bit-parallel polynomial basis multiplier over binary finite fields
This paper presents two efficient implementations of fast and pipelined bit-parallel polynomial basis multipliers over GF (2m) by irreducible pentanomials and trinomials. The architecture of the first multiplier is based on a parallel and independent computation of powers of the polynomial variable. In the second structure only even powers of the polynomial variable are used. The par...
متن کاملStochastic extension of cellular manufacturing systems: a queuing-based analysis
Clustering parts and machines into part families and machine cells is a major decision in the design of cellular manufacturing systems which is defined as cell formation. This paper presents a non-linear mixed integer programming model to design cellular manufacturing systems which assumes that the arrival rate of parts into cells and machine service rate are stochastic parameters and descri...
